The second day of the EVAC conference will be following an edcamp format. This "unconference" style will allow for teachers, to summarize, synthesize, apply, and create understanding from the previous day's sessions.
How do edcamp sessions work?
Anyone can host a session. The event begins with creating the schedule for the day. The schedule consists of session topics submitted by conference participants who have burning questions, or relevant information based in research. As sessions take place, participants "vote with their feet" moving to a different session if the one they chose is not relevant to their own teaching or needs. |
Want to host a session?
Consider our Edcamp day as an opportunity to deepen your learning from Friday's conference sessions. What struck you as relevant to your students? What would you like to explore further? Was there a topic presented you would like to discuss with others how it might be put into practice? Is there a topic that should be presented where you have knowledge and experience? |
